The notice released by the NBE also mentioned, “it is clarified that the revised dates for the conduct of the NEET-PG 2025 shall be notified once approval is obtained from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in accordance with the order dated 30.05.2025”.

NEET PG 2025 Postponed

The Supreme Court in its order dated May 30, 2025 ordered NBE to conduct the NEET PG Exam 2025 in a single shift and to make the required necessary arrangements accordingly. As a response to this, the NBE has now postponed the conduct of the NEET PG Exam 2025 by stating that they need time to identify test centers and complete necessary exam preparations.

The council of NBE mentioned that to successfully conduct NEET PG exam in one shift, they require 900 extra centers, and arranging and preparing these centers requires time; hence is not possible to conduct the exam on June 15, 2025. To this, the court replied, “We are not ready to accept that in the entire country, and considering the technological advancements in this country, the examining body could not find enough centres to hold the examination and one shift.”

The council then replied that, “Infrastructure for Wi-Fi, good computer safety security, etc. All possible problems have been considered, and then this solution (of two shifts) has been given.”

The court, after going through all the petitions, announced that the NEET PG 2025 Exam should be conducted in a single shift instead of the two shifts as planned by the body.
