NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for NEET UG, students must be at least 17 years old and should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. They must score at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in PCB subjects. Students from open schools or with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible. There is no upper age limit. Education:
You must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as main subjects.
Minimum Marks:
- General Category: At least 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- General-PwD: At least 45% marks.
- SC/ST/OBC & Reserved PwD: At least 40% marks.
Age Limit:
- You should be 17 years or older by December 31, 2026.
- So, your date of birth must be on or before December 31, 2009.
- There is no upper age limit!
For MBBS/BDS Abroad:
Indian citizens and OCI candidates planning to study MBBS/BDS abroad must also qualify for NEET 2026.
