Follow the steps mentioned below to apply online for the SBI Clerk 2026 exam.

Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI Careers @https://sbi.bank.in https://sbi.co.in/web/careers/ and then scroll down the page. Click on “Current Openings”>> "Recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales)">> "Apply Online". 

Step 2: Click on the NEW REGISTRATION button provided in the topmost right corner of the home page of the link provided above to start your registration process for the SBI Clerk Exam.

Step 3: Start your application process for SBI Clerk by providing your basic details such as name, contact number, email id, address etc. and click on the save and next button.

Step 4: Upload your SBI Clerk Handwritten Declaration, photograph and signature in the required format as provided by the State Bank of India. The photograph must be passport size and have a white background. Both the photograph and the signature must be clear and legible.

Step 5: Fill in your academic details and professional qualifications in this step of your online application process. Choose your preferred exam centre from SBI Clerk Exam Centre List 2026 and save the application form. 

Step 6: Preview your application form one last time, as you won’t be allowed to make any further changes to the application form. Click on the save and the next buttons after previewing your application form.

Step 7: Pay your Application Fee through an online payment option, i.e. through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Pre-Requisites of SBI Clerk Online Application

Before applying for the SBI Clerk 2026 exam, a candidate must have the following prerequisites to avoid any last-minute glitches in the online application process:

1. Candidates must have a photograph and a signature ready before applying for the SBI Clerk Online Application Form.
2. Candidates must NOT sign in CAPITAL LETTERS, as the State Bank of India won’t accept it.
3. Candidates must keep all necessary documents ready at the time of online payment of the application fee.
4. A valid email ID must be provided at the time of registration for the SBI Clerk Exam.
