JSSC CGL Syllabus 2024 with Latest Exam Pattern

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is going to conduct the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination ( JGGLCCE 2024) to recruit eligible candidates for 2017 vacancies of Assistant Bureau Officer, Block Supply Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Planning Assistant posts. The JSSC CGL Exam 2024 is scheduled to be held on 21st and 22nd September 2024. Candidates who are going to appear for the JSSC CGL 2024 exam should have a detailed knowledge of the JSSC CGL Syllabus and Exam Pattern. Jharkhand SSC CGL Selection Process 2024

The candidates are primarily selected for the different positions under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission on the basis of Written Exams (Paper 1, 2 & 3), and Document Verification. The recruitment of candidates for various vacant posts under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission is based on two stages:

Stage 1- Written Exam (Paper 1, 2 & 3)

Stage 2- Document Verification

The students who successfully qualify for the JSSC CGL Recruitment 2024 written exam are only eligible to apply for document verification. 

JSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024

There will be 3 papers in the JSSC CGL exam which will be of 2 hours duration each. The marks distribution and number of questions of each paper have been tabulated below. 

JSSC CGL Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2024

1. Paper 1 comprises a language paper- Hindi Language and English Language.
2. Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions.
3. The questions are based on Unseen Passage and Grammer.
4. Paper 1 exam is qualifying in nature.
5. It will be necessary for the candidates to bring 30% marks for qualifying.

JSSC CGL Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2024

1. JSSC CGL Paper 2 consists of a regional or selected language paper.
2. Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions for 100 marks.
3. Each Question carries 3 Marks and for every wrong question, 1 mark is deducted.
4. The questions will be set in Hindi and English language.

JSSC CGL Paper 3 Exam Pattern 2024

1. Paper 3 contains General Knowledge.
2. All Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions.
3. Each Question carries 3 Marks.
4. There will be a negative marking for every wrong question, 1 mark is deducted.
5. The questions will be set in Hindi and English language.

JSSC CGL Syllabus 2024

JSSC CGL Exam is a graduate level exam which is conducted every year by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for different positions under the JSSC. The Exam consists of 3 main papers and the detailed syllabus of all the papers has been discussed below-

JSSC CGL Paper 1 Syllabus for Languages

1. Paper-1 checks the knowledge of the candidates in both Hindi as well as English language and is qualifying in nature.
2. The qualifying marks of Paper-1 is 30% of the total marks.
3. 1 Correct question will buy 3 Marks.
4. 1 Wrong Question will penalize -1 Mark.

1. Candidates are required to select one regional paper of their choice among the given papers.
2. The minimum qualifying marks for this paper is 30%
3. One right answer secures 3 marks whereas the wrong answer deducts 1 mark.
