SBI Career Opportunities 2026

Probationary Officer (PO): SBI POs are managerial cadre officers who undergo rigorous training and handle critical banking operations and customer relationship management.

SBI Clerk Selection Process- SBI Clerk has only Prelims + Mains — no interview stage. However, a local language test (qualifying in nature) will also be conducted. 

SBI CBO Selection Process- The SBI CBO selection process includes an Online Test, Screening, Interview, and Local Language Proficiency Test. 

SBI SO Selection Process- SBI SO is different from PO and Clerk. It is for specialist professionals in fields like IT, Audit, CA, HR, Law, Marketing, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and more. The selection process varies slightly by post. For many SBI SO posts, the selection process primarily involves shortlisting based on experience and qualifications, followed by an interview. However, some posts, particularly at the Assistant Manager level like Assistant Manager (Systems), do require an online written examination.
