The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date for the 21st Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (February 2026 cycle), along with the release of the notification PDF. CTET exam for Paper I and II will be held on 8th February 2026 for all those candidates successfully registered for the exam. The CTET Pre Admit Card 2026 will be released in 3rd week of January 2026 and CTET Admit Card will be released by 6th February 2026 on the official website https://ctet.nic.in/.
CTET Admit Card 2026
The CTET 2026 exam is a national-level exam conducted to assess the candidates’ eligibility for Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8) posts in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, and others. CTET Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8 will be conducted in the first shift (9:30 am to 12 noon), while Paper 1 for classes 1 to 5 will take place in the second shift (2:30 pm to 5 pm). CBSE CTET Admit Card 2026
Before the release of the admit card, the CBSE will release the CTET pre-admit cards, allowing candidates to access their exam city slips now. To download the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Admit Card for 2026, follow these steps:
- Go to the official CTET website: www.ctet.nic.in.
- On the homepage, find and click on the link labelled “Download Admit Card for CTET 2026”.
- Enter the following details on the login page: Application Number and Password or Date of Birth (DOB).
- Fill in the Security PIN/Code (as shown on the page).
- After successfully logging in, your CTET admit card is displayed on the screen.
- Carefully check all the information on the admit card.
- Click on the download button to save the admit card. Print multiple copies for future reference and exam day.
