Steps for CUET UG Registration 2026

The candidates have to fill out the CUET Registration Form 2026 to get registered for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Follow the steps below to fill CUET 2026 Registration Form.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the CUET to fill out the CUET Registration Form 2026 - https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.

Step 2 - Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the programme.

Step 3 - After clicking, candidates will be able to see three programmes options- UG, PG, and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for.

Step 4 - Complete the registration process by entering details like the program applied for, name, valid email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.

Step 5 - Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and are sent to the registered email address and mobile number.

Step 6 - Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the login details like personal, academic qualification, and communication address.

Step 7 - Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format and dimensions.

Step 8 - Select the examination centres- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centres.

Step 9 - On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.

  • The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

3. The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 175 questions out of which 140 questions are to be attempted.
