RRB Technician Exam City Intimation 2026, Exam City & Date

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct the RRB Technician CBT Exam (CEN 02/2026) to recruit eligible candidates for 6557 Technician Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 vacancies. The city intimation slips for the CBT Exam will be released 10 days before the exam date. The RRB Technician City Intimation 2026 will be released for all the candidates whose applications will be accepted to inform them of their allotted exam city, shift timing, and scheduled exam date.

Candidates who will be appearing for the CBT Exam can download their RRB Technician Exam City Intimation Slip from the Railway Recruitment Board official website www.rrb.indianrailways.gov.in by using their login details, i.e., their Registration Number and Password (Date of Birth). The candidates must download their slips as soon as they are released and plan their travel in advance to their respective exam cities accordingly so that they can reach their exam centre on time.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the RRB Technician City Intimation Slip 2026 online at www.rrb.indianrailways.gov.in. Candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth to download their respective slips and check their exam city and shift details. 

1. Visit the Railway Recruitment Board's (RRB) official website www.rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on “Technician (CEN 02/2026)- City Intimation Slip”.
3. Enter your Registration Number and Password (Date of Birth) on the login page.
4. Type the characters as shown in the image.
5. Upon clicking on “Login”, your RRB Technician City Intimation Slip 2026 appears on the screen.
6. Download and check your exam city so as to plan accordingly.

What Details To Be Checked on RRB Technician City Intimation Slip 2026?

The candidates must note that the city intimation slip is not the official admit card that needs to be presented at the time of entry. RRB Technician Exam City Slip 2026 just informs you about the exam city and shift details. Only the details mentioned below will be presented on the intimation slip. 

• Exam City/State- The name of the city and state where the candidate's exam centre is located. This helps candidates to plan their travel and accommodation as necessary.
• Exam Date- The scheduled date for the exam. Candidates are advised to note the date carefully to avoid any confusion.
• Shift- Candidates are also informed of their respective shifts, during which they have to appear for the exam.
• Reporting Time- The time at which candidates must report to the exam centre, as per the shift allotted.
• Gate Closure Time- The gate closing time is also mentioned on the exam city slip; the gates shall be closed
• Exam Start Time- Each shift start time is notified, and each shift is 90 minutes.

What After Downloading RRB Technician City Intimation?

After the release of the RRB Technician Exam City Intimation Slip, the board will release the RRB Technician Admit Card 2026 around 4 days before the exam date. The candidate's admit cards will carry the complete exam venue address and other details.
