RRB Section Controller Application Fees 2026
Application fees as mentioned in CEN 03/2026 shall be paid through online mode only as per category. The fee once paid will not be refunded.
- General/OBC/EWS – Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/All Female/PwBD/Minority Community/Economically Backward Class – Rs. 250/-
Payment can be made only through online modes such as net-banking, credit/debit card, and UPI (BHIM, etc.). A partial fee refund (via bank transfer) is credited to General/OBC/EWS candidates who appear in the CBT, after deduction of bank charges.
RRB Section Controller Apply Online 2026 Process- Steps to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official RRB application portal at www.rrbapply.gov.in and click on the CEN 03/2026 "Section Controller – Apply Online" link on the homepage to begin your registration.
Step 2: Register yourself by providing your basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. A unique registration ID and password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID — note these down carefully.
Step 3: Log in using your registration ID and upload your photograph and signature in the required format.

Step 4: Choose your preferred Zonal Railway/RRB from the participating regional boards. Remember, a candidate may apply to only one RRB — applications to more than one RRB will lead to rejection of all applications.
Step 5: Fill in your Personal Details, including Father's Name, Mother's Name, Correspondence Address, permanent address, category, and community details.
Step 6: Enter your educational qualification details (Graduation degree/equivalent from a recognised university), along with Aadhaar details for identity verification.
Step 7: Upload the required documents such as your educational certificates, category certificate, and other supporting documents as specified in the notification.
Step 8: After you have successfully filled in all details, click the Preview button to review every entry carefully, as no correction is allowed after final submission.
Step 9: Pay your Application Fee through the Online Payment Option, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI.
Step 10: Click on the Submit button. Your application form will be submitted successfully. Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
