SSC GD Revised Result 2026 Out at ssc.gov.in, Category-Wise Constable Merit List PDF

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD Revised Result 2026 on 23 October 2026. The amended lists of men and women show the category applied and the category considered for each shortlisted candidate. The number of candidates (197,408 candidates) eligible for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) remains the same.

Candidates who have appeared for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2026, which is conducted from 27 April to 31 May 2026, can check revised lists and verify their category details on the official website of SSC, i.e. www.ssc.gov.in.

SSC had previously declared the SSC GD Constable 2026 result on 12 October 2026. However, after receiving representations from candidates regarding the categories shown in the female and male shortlisted candidates’ lists, the Commission issued a clarification and uploaded detailed lists showing both the category under which candidates applied and the category against which they were considered.

What Changed in the SSC GD Revised Result 2026?

After the previously declared result, SSC received representations from candidates who applied under SC, ST, OBC, EWS or ESM but saw “UR” against their name. This happened because they qualified with marks at or above the UR cut-off, so they were counted against UR seats. SSC has now uploaded detailed lists that show both categories for every shortlisted candidate. Candidates should check the notice dated 23 October 2026 for any change in their shortlisting status.

How to Check SSC GD Revised Result 2026?

Candidates can follow the steps below to access the revised SSC GD Constable shortlisted candidates’ lists.

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.
2. Open the relevant notice, result or examination section on the homepage.
3. Look for the notice titled “Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 – Information regarding status of categories of shortlisted candidates.”
4. Open the notice dated 23 October 2026.
5. Access the detailed lists linked to the notice, where available.
6. Download List I for female candidates or List II for male candidates, other than SSF.
7. Open the appropriate PDF and search for your roll number or other identifying details provided in the list.
8. Verify the category under which you applied and the category against which you were considered.

SSC GD Result 2026: Candidates Shortlisted for PET/PST

Of 21,56,776 candidates who appeared in the CBE, 1,97,408 (about 9.2%) were shortlisted for PET/PST on 12 October 2026.

Is SSC GD Cut off Marks Revised?

No, the cut off marks are not revised, and the cut-off marks remained the same as released previously. The SSC GD cut-off was released separately by state/UT, gender, category and force. Candidates can check SSC GD Cut Off marks from the below link.

What Happens Next?

Candidates provisionally shortlisted in the SSC GD Constable CBE result will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), subject to the applicable examination rules and subsequent instructions from SSC. The PET assesses candidates’ physical efficiency through the prescribed physical tasks, while the PST checks physical standards specified for the recruitment.
