SSC GD Result 2026, Merit List and Result PDF @ssc.gov.in

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has scheduled the SSC GD exam from 27th April to 30th May 2026. After the exam is conducted, the SSC GD 2026 will be released in July 2026 at the official website www.ssc.gov.in. The result will be released in PDF format, including the roll number of candidates declared qualified in the written exam and shortlisted for the physical exam. Through the recruitment drive, a total of 25487 vacancies will be recruited for Constable (GD) posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The selection process for SSC GD Examination includes the Written examination (Computer Based) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST), followed by Document Verification and Medical Test. The results for each stage of the exam will be released along with cut off marks. Candidates can check and download the results from the official website of SSC (after release).

The result for the SSC GD Examination will be released online at the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at www.ssc.gov.in. Only those candidates who qualify for the CBT exam will be shortlisted to appear for the physical examination. As soon as the result is released by SSC, the same will be updated in the article.

The step-by-step process is shared below for your reference.

1. Visit the SSC official website at www.ssc.gov.in on your Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the Results Section and click on the results tab on the homepage.
3. Search for "Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026– List of Male candidates provisionally shortlisted selected  OR List of Female candidates provisionally shortlisted for Physical Exam.
4. Click on "Result" and your SSC GD Result PDF containing the roll numbers of selected candidates.
5. Find your roll number in the list and download the result for future reference.

SSC GD Constable Salary 

After the selection as General Duty Constable, the candidates will get around Rs. 37,325 to Rs. 32,985 in-hand salary per month, which eventually increases with service period.
