The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD Answer Key and Response Sheet on 15th June 2026 for the candidates who appeared in the written exam for 25487 constable posts. The answer key and individual response sheet, along with the question paper, have been released online at the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (www.ssc.gov.in), and candidates have to download their response sheet through online mode only. 

SSC GD Answer Key 2026 Out

The answer key has been released along with the question paper and the facility to raise objections for around 24 lakh candidates who appeared in the CBT Exam from 27th April to 30th May 2026. Candidates who find any answer incorrect or irrelevant (as per new rules), can raise objections by 20th June 2026 (6 pm) with a nominal fee of Rs. 50 per objection.

How to Download SSC GD Answer Key 2026?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC GD Official Answer Key 2026 at its official website, www.ssc.gov.in. Below, we have provided the simple steps to download the answer key from the official website

1. Open your internet browser and go to the Staff Selection Commission official website www.ssc.gov.in.

2. On the homepage, under the “Quick Links” section, click on “Answer Key”.

3. Now click on “Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2026". Read all instructions.

4. Now again, go to the main page of the official website and log in with your Username (Registration Number) and Password (SSC Registration Password).

5. Your SSC GD Answer Key and Response Sheet 2026 appear on the screen.

6. Download your response sheet and cross-check the answers detailed in the PDF.

Raise Objection Process

After downloading the tentative SSC GD Answer Key using your User ID (Roll Number) and Password (as provided in the Admission Certificate), candidates can review the responses released by the commission. If any discrepancies are found, they may raise objections and submit their challenges along with a payment of Rs. 50 for each question or answer contested. The last date to raise an Computer-Basedobjection is 20th June 2026 (6 pm).

New Objection Rule: Under the new rules, wrong or ambiguous questions will be dropped and full marks awarded to all candidates, while questions with multiple correct answers will grant marks to anyone who chose a valid option. All objections are reviewed solely on merit by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) — the number of objections raised has no bearing on acceptance. Minor or technical errors without meaningful impact will be rejected. 

How to Raise Objections Against Official Answer Key?

  • Log in to the SSC website using your registration number and password.
  • Then, under "My Applications", click on "Answer Key Challenge".
  • Select the SSC General Duty Constable Examination-2026.
  • Again, a login page appears, where you have to enter your role number and password.
  • Select the question you want to raise objections to or challenge.
  • Pay a fee of Rs. 50/- for each objection.
  • Repeat the process from point 5 to raise more objections.

How to Calculate Marks Using SSC GD Official Answer Key 2026?

After checking the correct and incorrect responses that have been mentioned in the GD Answer Key as per the marking scheme, candidates can calculate the approximate marks scored in the examination.

  1. Open the SSC GD Answer Key using your roll number and password.
  2. Start with question 1 and write down whether it is correct or not on a blank piece of paper.
  3. Continue the same procedure for all 80 questions.
  4. Now add on how many correct questions you have answered and how many incorrect answers there are.
  5. Multiply the number of correct answers by 2 and the number of incorrect answers by 0.25.
  6. Subtract the multiplication of correct and incorrect answers.
  7. The answer with the expected marks will be scored in the SSC GD 2026 Exam.

SSC GD Marks = (Correct Answer x 2) - (Incorrect Answer x 0.25)
