SSC JE Apply Online 2026 Ends Today, Application Form Official Link at ssc.gov.in

The SSC JE Apply Online 2026 process is currently active, but candidates have very little time left to submit their applications. Today, 22 September, is the last date to apply online and the link will remain active till 11:00 PM. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting the recruitment for 1,748 tentative vacancies through the Junior Engineer Examination 2026.

Candidates who have not yet submitted their SSC JE application form should complete the registration process before the deadline. The last date for online fee payment is 23 September 2026, up to 11:00 PM. After the application window closes, SSC will open the application correction window from 28 to 30 September 2026.

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for the SSC JE 2026 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for the SSC JE 2026 Exam. SSC JE Application Correction Window 2026

Candidates will get an opportunity to make permitted corrections in their submitted SSC JE application from 28 September to 30 September 2026, up to 11:00 PM.

The correction window should not be treated as an extension of the application deadline. Candidates who have not submitted the application by 22 September 2026 should not wait for the correction window.

Steps for SSC JE Apply Online 2026

Follow the steps below to apply online for SSC JE 2026.

I. One-time Registration

1. Visit the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in.
2. Click on the "New User? Register Now" link if you haven't registered before.
3. Fill in the required details to complete the registration process. You will receive a registration ID and password.
4. Use your registration ID and password to log in to your account.
    

II. Filling Online Application for the Examination

1. To finalize the registration process, click the 'Continue' tab.
2. Log in again with the Login ID and Password and continue with the process of the SSC JE Online Application Process.
3. After successfully changing the password, you will be redirected to the login page, where candidates must log in again using their Registration Number and the newly changed password.
4. In the second part of the Application Process, upload your recently clicked passport-size photograph and signature in the required format.
5. Fill in your educational qualifications and your choice of center, and click on the submit button.
6. In the final step of the Application Process, you must pay the Application Fees for the SSC JE 2026 Exam in the online mode. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards, and BHIM, UPI etc.
7. Click on the "SUBMIT APPLICATION" button. Your Online Application form will be successfully submitted.
8. Take a printout and save the PDF file of the SSC JE Application Form for future reference.

Photograph & Signature Specifications

The photo of the candidate is captured live during the application process. But a scanned copy of the signature is required. The Signature specifications are given below.

• Size: 10 to 20 KB
• Image Dimensions: 40*60 pixels or 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm
• Image Type: JPEG/ JPG

Documents Required for SSC JE 2026 Form Filling

For the SSC JE (Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer) Apply Online 2026, you'll need several documents to complete your application process. Here is a list of commonly required documents:

• Recent passport-sized colour photograph with dimensions and size of 20 KB to 50 KB, 200x230 pixels.
• Scanned copy of your signature with dimensions and size of 10 KB to 20 KB, 140x60 pixels.
• Matriculation (10th class) certificate or equivalent qualification.
• A scanned copy of an ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.
• For candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), a valid category certificate is required.
