How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2026?

SSC has made Aadhaar-enabled One-Time Registration (OTR) mandatory for all candidates. If you've already registered for any SSC exam after the OTR system was introduced, you do not need to register again — simply log in with your existing Registration ID and Password and skip to Step 2.

Step 1: Open the SSC Official Website

• Visit the official Staff Selection Commission website at ssc.gov.in.
• Go to the Apply section and locate the link for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026.

Step 2: Complete SSC OTR (One-Time Registration)

If you are a new applicant and do not have the required SSC registration credentials, complete the One-Time Registration first.

• Enter the basic details (name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and class 10 roll number) as requested by SSC and complete the registration process.

Yes, candidates born in 2004 can eligible for SSC CHSL, provided they meet the prescribed age limit and other eligibility conditions. As the 02-08-1999 and 01-08-2008.

No, the general category candidates born after 01-08-2008 are not eligible to apply. 

Documents Required to Apply for SSC CHSL 2026

SSC CHSL Application Fee 2026

The candidates can proceed to submit the application fee only via online mode. A candidate must pay Rs. 100 as the SSC CHSL Online Application Fee. The fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or RuPay Debit Card. The last date for fee payment is October 8, 2026, up to 11:00 PM.

SSC CHSL Application Correction 2026

SSC will provide a three-day application correction window from October 14 to October 16, 2026, up to 11:00 PM.

Candidates can correct and resubmit their application a maximum of two times during this window.
