How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2026?
SSC has made Aadhaar-enabled One-Time Registration (OTR) mandatory for all candidates. If you've already registered for any SSC exam after the OTR system was introduced, you do not need to register again — simply log in with your existing Registration ID and Password and skip to Step 2.
Step 1: Complete SSC OTR (One-Time Registration)
- Visit the official SSC website, www.ssc.gov.in, and go to the Candidate Portal.
- Click on 'Register Now' under the Login section if you're a first-time applicant.
- Enter your basic details: Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Class 10 Roll Number.
- Complete Aadhaar-based verification via OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. If you don't have Aadhaar, alternative photo ID proof is accepted.
- Fill in category, nationality, visible identification mark, benchmark disability status (if any), and permanent/present address.
- Upload your photograph and signature as per SSC's specified format and size.
- Create a password, accept the declaration, and click Final Submit.
- Verify via OTP sent to mobile/email to complete registration. You'll receive your SSC Registration Number — save this carefully.
Step 2: Fill SSC CHSL Application Form
Once OTR is complete (or if you're already registered), log in to your dashboard to apply specifically for CHSL:
- Log in to the SSC Candidate Portal using your Registration ID and Password.
