RRB ALP Result 2026 Date, CBT 1 Result & Merit List PDF (Zone-wise)

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has successfully conducted the RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam to shortlist eligible candidates for the CBT 2 Exam to recruit eligible candidates for 9970 Assistant Loco Piolet vacancies. The RRB ALP Result 2026 for the CBT 1 Exam will be released in April 2026, along with zone-wise cut-off marks. The result will be released zone-wise in PDF format at the official RRB regional websites, including the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates.

The RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam 2026 was conducted on 13th, 16th, 17th, and 18th February 2026. Candidates who appeared in the CBT 1 are anxiously waiting for the announcement of the results. As per data, total of 10,03,719 candidates have appeared in the CBT 1 Exam for 9970 vacancies and now waiting for the result declaration. The selected candidates have to appear for CBT 2 Exam for which dates will be announced later on.

The selection process for RRB ALP Recruitment includes CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, Document Verification, and Detailed Medical Examination. How to Check RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2026?

Candidates who have appeared in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALPs) can check their result by following the steps mentioned below. 

Step 1: First you have to visit the official Website of the Railway Recruitment Board at https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/.

Step 2: Now Click on the Results link.

Step 3: Click on CEN -01/2025 Result of 1st Stage CBT FOR Assistant Loco Pilots.

Step 4: Now Download and Save this result PDF.

Step 5: Open it. The list of qualified candidates will be shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.

Step 6: If you have qualified for RRB ALP Stage II, your Name and Roll No. will be highlighted.

What's After RRB ALP Result 2026?

After the release of the RRB ALP Result 2026, the candidates can check their qualifying status, and those who will be declared qualified in the CBT 1 Exam will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., CBT 2 Exam. The CBT 2 Exam will be conducted in online mode, and there will be two parts, i.e., Part A and B. 

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

Candidates who qualify in cbt 1 exam will be then have to appear for RRB ALP CBT 2 stage which is divided into two parts:

Part A

• Duration: 90 minutes
• Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus:
  • Mathematics
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • Basic Science and Engineering
  • General Awareness
  • Current Affairs

Part B

• Duration: 60 minutes
• Questions: 75 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus: Relevant trade-based questions as per the candidate’s qualification and choice.
• Note: Qualifying in Part B is mandatory and requires a minimum of 35% marks.

The selection process for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) posts has five stages. The first two are computer-based tests—CBT 1 and CBT 2. The third stage will be a computer-based aptitude test (CBAT) followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).
