Railway Recruitment Board conducted the RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam in the month of November 2024 for lakhs of candidates who had applied for 18799 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies. RRB ALP Result 2024

The selection process for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 includes CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, Document Verification, and Detailed Medical Examination. The first stage is a Computer-Based Test which includes 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the candidates qualifying in the 1st stage will have to appear for CBT 2. For each incorrect answer in CBT 1, a negative marking of 1/3rd mark is applicable. The qualifying status after each stage will be notified through RRB ALP Result 2024.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will release the results of the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1) for the 2024 cycle by the end of January 2025 or start of February 2025. The exams were conducted from 25th to 29th November 2024. Once the results are out, they will be available on the official RRB regional websites. Steps to Check RRB ALP Result 2024

Candidates who have appeared in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALPs) can check their result by following the steps mentioned below. 

Step 1: First you have to visit the official Website of the Railway Recruitment Board at https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/.

Step 2: Now Click on the Results link.

Step 3: Click on CEN -01/2024 Result of 1st Stage CBT FOR Assistant Loco Pilots.

Step 4: Now Download and Save this result PDF.

Step 5: Open it. The list of qualified candidates will be shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.

Step 6: If you have qualified for RRB ALP Stage II, your Name and Roll No. will be highlighted.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

Candidates who qualify in cbt 1 exam will be then have to appear for RRB ALP CBT 2 stage which is divided into two parts:

Part A

• Duration: 90 minutes
• Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus:
  • Mathematics
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • Basic Science and Engineering
  • General Awareness
  • Current Affairs

Part B

• Duration: 60 minutes
• Questions: 75 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus: Relevant trade-based questions as per the candidate’s qualification and choice.
• Note: Qualifying in Part B is mandatory and requires a minimum of 35% marks.

The selection process for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) posts has five stages. The first two are computer-based tests—CBT 1 and CBT 2. The third stage will be a computer-based aptitude test (CBAT) followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME).
