RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2026 Out (Zone-wise), Download Merit List & Results PDF

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the RRB ALP Result 2026 for Assistant Loco Pilot CBT 1 exam along with cut-off marks. The result has been published separately on the regional websites in PDF format. Candidates who appeared in CBT 1 exam on 13th, 16th, 17th and 18th February and 11th March 2026 can now download their result pdf of their concerned region and check whether they have qualified for CBT 2 exam or not.

RRB ALP Result 2026 Out

The result of CBT 1 for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) has been declared in PDF format. Roll numbers of candidates who have been declared qualified in CBT 1 Exam and have been shortlisted to appear for CBT 2 Exam for 10970 vacancies have been released. Provisionally shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the 2nd Stage Examination (CBT-2) for ALP posts against CEN No. 01/2025 any time after 12th July 2026.

RRB has released the merit list for RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam notifying 158705 candidates shortlisted for CBT 2 Exam. Till now, the result for Muzaffarpur region has not been released.

The zone-wise RRB ALP CEN 01/2025 result PDF for all regions (Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Prayagraj, Siliguri, Secunderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram) is released on the regional websites. How to check the RRB ALP Result 2026 from the official website?

Candidates can check their results for the CBT 1 exam for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) from their regional websites.

1. Visit your Railway Recruitment Board regional website from which you have applied.
2. Now click on the Results link >> CEN – 01/2025 Result of 1st Stage CBT FOR Assistant Loco Pilots.
3. The result PDF will appear on your screen. Download it and save the PDF.
4. The result PDF carries the names and roll numbers of qualified candidates.
5. Use the shortcut key “Ctrl+F” and enter your name/roll no.
6. If you have qualified for RRB ALP Stage II, your name and roll no. will be highlighted.

What happens after the RRB ALP CBT 1 result release?

After the release of the RRB ALP Result 2026, candidates can check their qualifying status. Those who are declared qualified in the CBT 1 exam will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., the CBT 2 exam. The CBT 2 exam will be conducted in online mode, and there will be two parts, i.e., Part A and B.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern

Candidates who qualify in cbt 1 exam will be then have to appear for RRB ALP CBT 2 stage, which is divided into two parts:

Part A

• Duration: 90 minutes
• Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus:
  • Mathematics
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning
  • Basic Science and Engineering
  • General Awareness
  • Current Affairs

Part B

• Duration: 60 minutes
• Questions: 75 multiple-choice questions
• Syllabus: Relevant trade-based questions as per the candidate’s qualification and choice.
• Note: Qualifying in Part B is mandatory and requires a minimum of 35% marks.

The selection process for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) posts has five stages. The first two are computer-based tests—CBT 1 and CBT 2. The third stage will be a computer-based aptitude test (CBAT) followed by document verification (DV) and medical examination (ME).

Candidates who are qualified in CBT 1 exam must begin their preparation for CBT 2 Exam without any delay and check latest syllabus and PYQs.
