REET Syllabus 2024: The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) conducts every year the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) to select eligible candidates for the post of teachers in Rajasthan government schools. The candidates preparing for REET 2024 must prepare as per the new REET Syllabus & Exam Pattern. REET exam is a state-level exam conducted for two levels i.e., level I and level II. The Level I exam is for classes 01st to 05th (Primary teachers), and Level II is for classes 06th to 08th (Upper Primary Teachers). Candidates must go through the syllabus of the REET 2024 exam before starting their preparation. This will help them to strategize their preparation. REET Latest Update- The Cabinet Minister for the Department of EDUCATION (Primary & Secondary) has introduced a change in the recruitment of teachers posts in Rajasthan. Qualifying REET Exam for applying for various teaching posts is compulsory. Now the candidates have to qualify REET Exam and then have to qualify for an entrance test separately for Rajasthan Grade 3 Teacher posts for which the scheme has been discussed in the article below.

REET Exam Syllabus 2024

1. There would be 150 questions for 1 mark each.
2. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours for each paper.
3. There is no negative marking in REET Eligibility Test.

REET Grade 3 Teacher Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024 [New]

After qualifying for REET Exam 2024, the candidates have to appear in a separate entrance test for which the pattern and syllabus have been discussed below. This exam consists of two papers. i.e., Paper I and Paper II. Paper-1 is for the 1st to 05th class teachers while Paper 2 is for class 6th to 08th. The number of questions is the same for both the REET exam i.e., 150, and the marks are the same at 150. Candidates can appear for both papers also.

1. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
2. REET 2024 Exam will be of 300 marks.
3. The exam is for 2 hours & 30 minutes
4. Level 1 examination conducted for teachers of class 1st to 5th
5. Level 2 examination conducted for teachers of class 6th to 8th.
