Odisha Senior Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test, also known as OSSTET, is a state-level exam that is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, to assess the eligibility of candidates as secondary teachers in Odisha schools. OSSTET 2026 Exam

OSSTET Exam Date 2026 Out
As per the latest notice released, OSSTET 2026 Exam has been scheduled for 30th September 2026 (Wednesday). Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted in a single shift (9 am to 11:30 am). Only the candidates whose applications will be accepted can appear for the eligibility test.

The registration window will be opened for a short duration at the official website http://www.bseodisha.ac.in/. The link will be active from 3rd to 17th August 2026. The applications are to be submitted through online only, and no application will be accepted through any other means.

Steps to Fill OSSTET Application Form
- Visit the official website of BSE, Odisha at http://www.bseodisha.ac.in/
- Click on ‘New Registration’ to create a new Login ID.
- On successful registration, the login ID and Password will be sent on the registered mail of the candidate.
- Fill out the OSSTET application form with the required details.
- Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Proceed to pay the application fees as per your category.
- Submit the OSSTET 2026 Application Form.
- Take the printout of the Application Form for future reference.

OSSTET 2026 Selection Process
The candidates who wish to begin their career as secondary school teachers in Odisha are required to qualify to be eligible for the post. OSSTET 2026 will be conducted offline and there is no negative marking for any wrong answer in OSSTET 2026.

OSSTET Syllabus 2026
The OSSTET Syllabus is prepared by the Board of Secondary Education Odisha for Paper 1 and Paper 2. To qualify for OSSTET, candidates need to thoroughly know the syllabus and must start the preparation accordingly. OSSTET 2026 Teacher Salary
Candidates after qualifying for OSSTET 2026 will receive an in-hand salary that is incremented substantially if we take into account the basic pay and allowances, the average in-hand OSSTET salary per month ranges from Rs. 5,200-20200.
