CSIR NET Answer Key 2026 Out at csirnet.nta.ac.in, Download June Session Response Sheet PDF

The National Test Agency (NTA) has released the CSIR NET Answer Key 2026 on 16th August 2026 for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test 2026 (June). Candidates who have appeared for the CSIR NET Exam conducted on 17th and 18th July 2026 can now check all the official answers for the questions that were asked in the computer-based test. Candidates can cross-check their marked answers with the correct ones provided in the answer key, and by using the correct marking, they can calculate their tentative scores. With the release of the answer key, candidates are also given the opportunity to object if they find any mistakes in the provisional answer key.

How to download the CSIR NET June Answer Key 2026?

  1. Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at www.csirnet.nta.nic.in.
  2. On the homepage, look for the “Latest News” section.
  3. Candidates find a link to download the “Joint CSIR NET June 2026 – Click Here to Answer Key Challenge. ” Click on that link.
  4. Candidates are redirected to a new page. Here, candidates need to log in by entering their application number and date of birth.
  5. Enter the Security Pin as shown in the image and click on the Submit tab.
  6. After successfully logging in, the answer key appears on the screen.
  7. Download the answer key and calculate your estimated score.

Raise Objection Process

The National Test Agency has first released a provisional CSIR NET Answer Key 2026, allowing the candidates to raise an objection if they are not satisfied with any answer. Candidates are required to provide valid proof to justify their objection. The objection can be raised from 16th to 18th August 2026, as announced by the officials along with the release of the answer key.

What is CSIR NET Marking Scheme?

The CSIR NET exam has a marking scheme where each correct answer in Part A and Part B is awarded 2 marks, while in Part C, correct answers are awarded 4 marks. There is negative marking for incorrect answers in all parts, with a deduction of 25% of the allotted marks for each wrong answer. This means a deduction of 0.5 marks for incorrect answers in Part A and B, and a deduction of 1 mark for incorrect answers in Part C.
