Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct the IBPS SO Prelims Exam on 29th August 2026. The result for the prelims exam will be released in September/October 2026. Candidates who will appear in the prelims exam will be required to provide their login details,i.e., their Username/Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth, to access their result and to check their qualifying status for the next stage of the selection process.

The result for the prelims exam can be checked from the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection official website www.ibps.in once released. The candidates who will be declared qualified in the prelims exam will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., the mains exam. Through the exam, IBPS aims to fill a total of 745 vacancies for Specialist Officer (SO) posts for which the selection will be based on Prelims Exam, Main Exams, and Interview.
