The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invited online applications for 7365 Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) posts to be filled in participating banks during 2027–28. The window to edit applications has been opened for 2 days on 29th and 30th July 2026.

IBPS PO 2026 Online Application Fee

Only forms for which the exam fee is submitted successfully through online mode (credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI) will be accepted. The application fee for IBPS PO 2026 is Rs. 850 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs. 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

Pre-Requisites for IBPS PO 2026 Online Application

As per the official notification, candidates need the following ready before starting the form:

• A scanned copy of the photograph in the permissible size.
• A scanned copy of the signature should not be in capital letters.
• Live photograph capture during registration (new requirement for 2026).
• Left thumb impression (if unavailable, alternative impressions as specified in the official notification may be used).
• Scanned copy of the handwritten declaration.
• Graduation mark sheet/degree certificate details, with result declared on or before 21st July 2026.
• Valid ID proof and, where applicable, DigiLocker-linked documents for verification (new for 2026).

Steps to Fill IBPS PO Application Form 2026

Follow the steps mentioned below to fill in the online application form of IBPS PO 2026:

Step 1: Open the official page of IBPS at www.ibps.in or directly click on the above link. 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on "CRP PO/MT" listed on the life side of the page.

Step 3: A new page appears, click on the notification reading- “Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainee-XV”.

Step 4: Now click on the link notifying- “Click here to Apply Online for Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainee-XIII CRP PO/MT-XV”

Step 5: Now, click on the CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION link provided on the top-right-hand side of the page.

Step 6: You will now be redirected to the first section of the form. Fill in all your basic information and click on the Save and Next button at the bottom of the page

Step 7: On the second section of the application form, you are required to upload your photograph and signature in this section.

Step 8: Upload your photograph and signature in the second section, then click Next

Step 9: You are now required to fill in your details. Three sub-sections need to be completed in this portion of the application form.

Step 10: Fill in your Educational Qualifications and Work Experience, then set your exam centre preferences (mention up to 4 preferred locations) before clicking Save and Next.

Step 11: Check the preview of your application form and edit if you find any errors. Once the data is uploaded and saved, you won't be allowed to make any changes in the form, whatsoever. Therefore, kindly review all the details provided by you while filling in the application form.

Step 12: Finally, Select the preferable payment method to fill in the application fee for IBPS PO 2026 Exam. All payments are done online. Candidates can pay the Application fee through online mode, Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking etc.

Step 13: Click on the Submit button. Your application will be successfully submitted.

Handwritten Declaration for IBPS PO Online Application

The text for the handwritten declaration, as mentioned in IBPS PO 2026 is as follows –

“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

IBPS PO 2026 Edit Window & Correction Fee

IBPS will open a 2-day Edit Window after the registration period closes, allowing candidates to make limited corrections to their submitted application on payment of a Rs. 200 (inclusive of GST) correction fee, which applies uniformly across categories and is non-refundable. Note that Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, State/UT, Post, and Nationality cannot be edited even during this window. Category can only be changed from General/EWS/OBC to SC/ST/PwBD, not the reverse, and any fee already paid will not be refunded on account of such a change.
