Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared SSC CGL Result for tier 2 exam along with cut off marks and dates for the sliding process on 8th April 2026. SSC conducted the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-2) 2025 to recruit eligible candidates for 15118 Group "B" and Group "C" posts in various government departments like Income Tax, Customs, CBI, CBDT & CBEC, etc. Candidates who appeared in the Tier 2 exam can now check for their results by downloading the result PDFs.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2025-26 Out
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam was conducted on 18th and 19th January 2026 for around 139395 tier 1 qualified candidates and now SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2026 has been declared with names of 15118 recommended candidates for JSO, Statistical Investigator, and other posts. The marks and score cards will be uploaded shortly at www.ssc.gov.in with subject-wise marks scored in the examination.
Staff Selection Commission has introduced SSC Sliding Mechanism and only the candidates whose names/roll numbers are displayed in final SSC CGL Result 2025-26 are eligible to take part. Scroll down the article to check whether you are selected or not.
SSC CGL Result 2025-26
Along with the SSC CGL Result, the cut-off marks for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-2) have been released on the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in. Through the SSC CGL Exam, 15118 vacancies have been released for Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Other posts. The tier 2 merit lists are declared as the final merit list for selecting candidates.

Candidates can either download the result PDFs directly from the links that have been shared above or from the official website www.ssc.gov.in, following the steps mentioned below-
- Visit the official website of SSC (https://ssc.gov.in/)
- On the left side of the homepage, click on the “Result” section and click on the CGL tab.
- Click on the "Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-2) 2025: Candidates provisionally shortlisted for DV" Result Links for the posts you have appeared in the exam.
- Now download the SSC CGL Result for Tier 2 Exam PDF file and save this result PDF.
- SSC CGL Tier Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.
- Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.
- If your Name and Roll No. are there on the list, you have qualified to appear for the released vacancies.

What after the SSC CGL Tier 2 Result?
Accordingly, the candidates are to choose the venue, date and slot for the sliding process by logging in through the designated login module on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in/) from 8 th April, 2026, to 10th April, 2026. Thereafter, the sliding process will be conducted at the cities of the concerned Regional Offices from 13th to 22nd April 2026 (Northern Region) and from 13th to 18th April 2026 (all the other Regional Offices). The address of the venue for the Sliding process will be made available at the designated login module on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in/) while choosing the venue, date and slot for sliding process.

What are SSC CGL Tier 2 Qualifying Marks?
The minimum qualifying mark in the examination for General category candidates is 30%, for OBC & EWS candidates is 25%, and for other categories is 20%. Candidates scoring more than the qualifying marks are eligible to be a part of the shortlisting; however, the cut-off marks are the deciding factor for shortlisting candidates for the next round.
