CTET Result 2026

CTET Exam is a national-level eligibility exam which is held twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for teacher posts for Classes 1 to 8 in Central Government Schools such as NVS/KVS and other Schools, etc. The CTET February Exam was conducted on 7th and 8th February 2026, for which the CTET Result 2026 can be checked online from the official website www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates who will be declared qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test in February will be issued CTET mark sheets and certificates via DigiLocker. 

CTET February Result Date 2026

The exact date for CTET Result 2026 is not announced yet, but it is expected to be released as expected in March 2026 on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. The result will be released in score card format with the marks obtained by candidates in the CTET exam. Those who will get 60% or above in Paper 1 are eligible to teach classes I to V, and qualifying for Paper 2 makes one eligible to teach classes VI to VIII. School management may relax the qualifying percentage for SC / ST / OBC.

CTET Result 2026 and Score Card Link

The CTET February Result 2026 and Score Card for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be made available on the official website www.ctet.nic.in as expected in March 2026. Candidates can check their result status, whether they qualified or not, in the CTET exam by visiting the official website of CBSE or from the direct link, which will be shared below once the result is officially released.

How to Download CTET February Result 2026?

To check the CTET Result 2026, a candidate must have their Roll Number and follow the steps below- 

  1. Go to the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, www.ctet.nic.in.
  2. Find the link and click on “CTET February 2026 Result” appearing on the homepage in front of the Latest News section.
  3. Now, you are directed to a new page where candidates are required to enter their Roll Number.
  4. After entering valid login details, click on the Submit tab.
  5. The CTET results for paper 1 and paper 2 appear on the screen.
  6. Take the printout of the CTET Result for future use.

CTET 2026: Minimum Qualifying Marks 

Candidates who secure equal to or more than the qualifying marks in the CTET result 2026 will be considered declared in the teacher eligibility test. Candidates from the general category have to score a minimum of 60% and candidates from other categories are required to score a minimum of 55%. CTET 2026 Certificate and Marksheet

The CTET 2026 Certificate and mark sheet will be available on the DigiLocker. The CTET certificate 2026 will be issued for candidates who will clear the exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks. On the other hand, the CTET mark sheet 2026 will be issued to all candidates who appear for the exam. Candidates can download their CTET mark sheets and certificates by using their login credentials. The DigiLocker login details are provided by the CBSE to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers. The validity of the CTET Certificate is for a lifetime. 

CTET Result 2026 Applicability

(i) The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.

(ii) CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, which may exercise the option of considering the CTET.

(iii) Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

(iv) According to CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws 53, prescribing the minimum qualifications for teachers to teach various subjects in Classes I to VIII in the schools affiliated to CBSE stands amended to that extent and it shall be mandatory that the teachers appointed hereinafter to teach classes I to VIII in the Schools affiliated to the CBSE shall qualify/pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate Central/ State Government by the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for this purpose.
