Candidates who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 held on 7th and 8th February, 1st March 2026 are now waiting for the release of the answer key to cross-check their response. Steps to Check CTET February Answer Key 2026

1. Visit the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at www.ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the link that reads “Key Challenges (CTET February 2026)” to check your scanned images of the OMR sheet and answer key.
3. Enter login details, i.e., Roll Number and Date of Birth as per the admission certificate.
4. Fill in accurate details and click on the Login tab.
5. CTET Answer Key 2026, along with the correct response, appears on the screen.
6. Download and take a printout of the CTET Answer Key and OMR Sheet for papers 1 and 2, and cross-check their answers.

How to Raise Objections Against the CTET 2026 Answer Key?

If a candidate is not satisfied with the Provisional Answer Key, they can submit an online challenge within the objection window (typically 2–3 days after key release). The objection fee is Rs. 1,000 per question, refundable if the challenge is accepted by subject matter experts.

2. Log in using your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
3.  Locate the question number you wish to challenge in the answer key.
4. Click ‘Click to Enter Your Answer’ and select the option you believe is correct.
5. Upload valid supporting proof — e.g., a textbook page, NCERT reference, or academic source
6. Pay the prescribed objection fee of ₹1,000 per question via Credit / Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
7. Review and submit. Save the confirmation page for your records

What Is the CTET Answer Key 2026?

CTET Answer Key is an official document released by CBSE that lists the correct answers to all 150 multiple-choice questions for each set of both Paper I and Paper II. It is issued in two phases:

1. Provisional Answer Key - Released first at www.ctet.nic.in, this key invites objections from candidates who disagree with any marked answer. It is released along with each candidate’s scanned OMR Response Sheet.
2. Final Answer Key - Released after CBSE’s panel of subject matter experts reviews all paid challenges. Any corrections identified are incorporated, and the CTET Result 2026 is prepared exclusively based on this Final Answer Key.

CTET Exam 2026- Marking Scheme

CTET exam included two papers- I and II, for 150 marks each. After downloading the CTET Answer Key, it is important to understand the marking scheme to evaluate your performance in the examination. The marking scheme for Papers I and II is the same as provided below:

The candidates will be rewarded +1 for every correct answer.
For wrong/unanswered questions, no marks will be deducted, i.e., there is no provision for negative marking.
For incorrect answers, no marks will be deducted.
