The Department of Panchayats and Rural Development, Government of West Bengal, has announced a total of 6,500 Gram Panchayat vacancies for various posts. The selection of candidates will be based on a written exam and an interview. WB Gram Panchayat Exam Pattern 2026

The WB Gram Panchayat Exam will be conducted for a total of 85 marks and will include objective type multiple chose questions. The question will be asked from mainly 4 subjects, including English, Bengali, Arithmetic, and General Knowledge (Emphasis on Rural Life & Rural Development).

WB Gram Panchayat Syllabus 2026

The WB Gram Panchayat includes 4 main subjects, including  English, Bengali, Arithmetic, and General Knowledge (Emphasis on Rural Life & Rural Development). Candidates must check the subject-wise topics from which questions will be asked in the exam to start their preparations.

English (25 Questions)

• Grammar: Articles, Prepositions, Tenses, Narration, Voice Change

Arithmetic/Math (25 Questions)
