UP TGT PGT New Notification 2026 Out Soon for 20340+ Vacancies, Syllabus Revised

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board (UPSESSB), Allahabad, has announced a total of 20340+ vacancies for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) for which the detailed notification will be released soon. The selection of the eligible candidates will be done through a written test followed by an interview round for PGT posts, whereas for TGT Posts, the candidates have to appear for the written test only.

UP TGT PGT Vacancy 2026

A total of 20340+ vacancies, out of which 17,740 vacancies are for Trained Graduate Teacher posts and 2600+ vacancies are announced for Post Graduate Teachers posts. The detailed vacancy distribution will be released along with the notification PDF. 

UP TGT PGT Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the authority for a specific post. UP TGT PGT Age Limit

The minimum age limit as decided by the authority for the post of TGT and PGT is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 60 years.

The candidates who are applying for the TGT and PGT posts must possess the essential qualification as well as preferential qualification details as mentioned in the official notification.

1. TGT – Graduate Degree in a relevant subject and B.Ed or equivalent
2. PGT – Post Graduate Degree with B.Ed.
