UGC NET Result 2025, June Exam Result and Score Card

University Grants Commission (UGC) conducted the UGC NET June 2025 Exam over 5 days, for which lakhs of candidates appeared in the eligibility test. Over 8,49,166 candidates have applied for the exam, out of which 6,49,490 candidates have appeared in UGC NET 2025 June Session, which was held on 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th June 2025. Now UGC NET Result 2025 will be declared at www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in along with the UGC NET Score Card 2025. The qualifying marks for General (Unreserved) / General-EWS category candidates are 40% (in both papers 1 & 2), and for reserved categories (viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer), PwD, and Third gender), the qualifying marks are 35%. The validity of UGC NET Scores remains valid for a lifetime.

UGC NET Result 2025 Certificate Validity

The UGC NET certificate for Assistant Professor (Lectureship) is valid for a lifetime. However, the UGC NET JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) award letter is valid for three years from the date of issuance. The UGC NET certificate is a mandatory requirement for applying to Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.

Assistant Professor/Lectureship: The UGC NET certificate for this position is valid for a lifetime.
