The National Test Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the UGC NET June Exam 2026 from 22nd to 30th June 2026. UGC NET Result 2026 Certificate Validity

The UGC NET certificate for Assistant Professor (Lectureship) is valid for a lifetime. However, the UGC NET JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) award letter is valid for three years from the date of issuance. The UGC NET certificate is a mandatory requirement for applying to Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. 

• Assistant Professor/Lectureship: The UGC NET certificate for this position is valid for a lifetime.
• JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): The JRF award letter is valid for three years from the date it is issued.
