SSC MTS Eligibility- Education Qualification (as on 01/08/2025)
Candidates should have passed the matriculation (Class 10) examination or its equivalent from a recognised board or university as on or before the cut-off date to be eligible to appear for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam. The educational qualification will also be considered fulfilled if the candidate can provide documentary evidence proving that they passed the qualifying examination on or before the cut-off date.
SSC MTS Eligibility- Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)
For MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue)- The minimum age limit is usually 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years. Candidates born not before 02.08.2000 and not later than 01.08.2007
For Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS- Candidates must fall in the age group of 18 to 27 years. Candidates born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2007
However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to certain categories, such as SC/ST, OBC, PwD, and ex-servicemen, as mentioned in SSC MTS Notification 2025.

SSC MTS Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
