- Candidates will receive +3 Marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark (negative marking) for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2, and Module-1 of Section-3
How to calculate the provisional score from the answer key?
- Login to the SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) and download your response sheet for Tier 1.
- Now count the number of correct answers, number of wrong answers, and number of unattempted questions.
- Use this formula for your provisional raw score: Provisional Score (Correct×3)− (Wrong×1)
- Do not include unattempted questions in the calculation, as they carry zero marks.
- The score you get is your raw Tier 2 score; SSC will later apply normalisation across shifts to prepare the result and merit list.
