Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has successfully conducted the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam to recruit eligible candidates for 3131 vacancies. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026 for the Tier 2 exam has been released on 20th April 2026 at the SSC official website www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates who have appeared for the exam will have to provide their login details, i.e., their registration number/username and password to access the answer key.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026 Out

The Tier 2 exam for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025, was conducted on 10th April 2026 for all the candidates who were declared qualified in the Tier 1 Exam. The candidates who appeared in the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam can now download the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026 from the Staff Selection Commission's official website www.ssc.gov.in. Steps to Download SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026

Candidates can either download their SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer key 2026 from the link that is provided above or from the official website of the Staff Selection Commission, www.ssc.gov.in. Check the steps mentioned below to download from the official website. 

1. Visit the SSC official website: www.ssc.gov.in.
2. Click on the "Login" tab and enter your registration number and password.
3. Click on ‘Answer Key Challenge’ as given below.
4. A notice opens on your screen, where you have to click on the text reading “Module for candidate’s response sheet, tentative answer keys, and for submission of representation”.
5. A login page opens on the screen, where you have to enter your Roll Number/User ID and Password that was generated at the time of registration. Click on “Submit” to proceed.
6. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Answer Key 2025 appears on the screen. Download the provisional answer key and cross-check the marks scored.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026 Raise Objection

The Staff Selection Commission has also provided a facility to raise objections if candidates find any incorrect answers or errors in the provisional answer key. Candidates can raise objections from 20th to 23rd April 2026, after which no objections will be accepted. Candidates also have to provide a valid proof to justify their objections. 

SSC CHSL Phase 2 Marking Scheme 2026

For the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026, the marking scheme is as follows:

1. Candidates will receive +3 Marks for each correct answer
2. -1 mark (negative marking) for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2, and Module-1 of Section-3

How to calculate the provisional score from the answer key?

1. Login to the SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) and download your response sheet for Tier 1.
2. Now count the number of correct answers, number of wrong answers, and number of unattempted questions.
3. Use this formula for your provisional raw score: Provisional Score  (Correct×3)− (Wrong×1)
4. Do not include unattempted questions in the calculation, as they carry zero marks.
5. The score you get is your raw Tier 2 score; SSC will later apply normalisation across shifts to prepare the result and merit list.
