Who can apply for the SEBI Grade A Exam?
To be eligible for the SEBI Grade A Exam, candidates must be Indian citizens and should be under 30 years old. The educational qualification depends on the stream. Candidates may need a master's degree, a bachelor's degree in law or engineering, or professional qualifications such as CA, CS, or CFA. No prior work experience is required for most streams. SEBI Grade A 2026 Application Fee
While submitting the SEBI Grade A Application Form 2026, candidates have to pay an application fee/intimation charges to complete the application forms. The application fee will be paid online through credit/debit/UPI.

Selection Process for SEBI Grade A Recruitment 2026
The selection process for SEBI Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in three phases, which are as follows—
- Phase I: an online screening examination consisting of two papers
- Phase II: an online examination consisting of two papers
- Phase III: will be a Personal Interview/Group Discussion
The final selection of the candidates will be made on the marks secured by the candidate in the Phase II Online Examination and the interview.

SEBI Grade A Phase-1 Exam Pattern
- An online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each.
- Paper-1 will be of 60 minutes (1 hour) duration and common for all streams.
- Paper-2 will consist of multiple-choice questions; the duration of each section is 40 minutes.
- The aggregate cut-off to be scored is 40%.

SEBI Grade A Salary
The pay scale of officers in Grade A is Rs. 62500 - 3600 (4) - 76900 - 4050 (7) - 105250 - EB - 4050 (4) - 121450 - 4650 (1) - 126100 [17 years]. The minimum of this scale is approximately. Rs. 1,84,000/- per month without accommodation and Rs. 1,43,000/- per month with accommodation for candidates employed in Mumbai.

The results for all three phases will be released separately after completion of all stages. The candidates have to qualify in phase 1 to get shortlisted for phase 2. The candidates qualifying in each stage will be shortlisted for the released vacancies.
