RBI Assistant Result 2026, Prelims Merit List PDF

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has conducted the Prelims Exam to recruit eligible candidates for 650 Assistant vacancies. The result for the prelims exam will be released in May 2026 on the RBI official website www.rbi.org.in. The result will be released in the PDF format and will carry the roll numbers of candidates who will be declared qualified in the prelims exam.

Step 3: On the result page, click on the “Result of Online Preliminary Examination held on 11th and 13th April 2026 for Recruitment for the Post of Assistant - 2026” link.

Step 4: A new page opens. Click on the link with the Text "Roll Numbers of Candidates Shortlisted for Mains Exam".

Step 5:A PDF appears on your screen. The list of qualified candidates for the Prelims examination is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and search your Roll No.

Step 6: If you have qualified, your Roll Number is highlighted.

What After RBI Assistant Result 2026?

After the release of the RBI Assistant Result 2026, the candidates whose roll numbers will appear in the result PDF will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., the mains exam. After which the selected candidates will be called for a Language Proficiency Test, which will be qualifying in nature.
