The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the RBI Assistant Result 2026 with qualifying status at the official website, www.rbi.org.in. RBI Assistant Result 2026 Out
Candidates who appeared in the exam can verify their qualifying status through the result link, which has now been made available at the official website, www.rbi.org.in. Only those candidates whose roll number appears in the result PDF are declared qualified in the prelims exam and shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., the mains exam, which is scheduled for 7th June 2026. This year, 650 vacancies for the posts of assistants in the RBI are to be filled.
As per the result, 8171 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for RBI Assistant mains exam which has been scheduled for a single day, 7th June 2026 (Sunday).

Important: The marks scored in prelims exam will not be counted in final merit list as the final selection of candidates will depend on the score obtained by candidates in Mains Exam. However, scoring more than cut off mark is important to be eligible to appear for mains exam.

RBI Assistant 2026 Score Card and Cut Off Marks
The state-wise and category-wise cut-off marks will be released within 15 days, informing the candidates of how many marks are scored by the last selected candidates. Furthermore, the individual marks scored by the candidates will be released through score cards.

What After RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2026?
After the release of the RBI Assistant Prelims Result, the candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF are now eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., the mains exam. After which, the selected candidates will be called for a language proficiency test, which will be qualifying in nature.

RBI Assistant Mains Result 2026
RBI Assistant Result for the Mains exam will be declared once the Mains exam has been conducted. The main exam is scheduled to be held on 7th June 2026. The result of the Mains Exam will decide the candidate's final selection to the post of assistant in one of the many branches of the Reserve Bank of India across the country, as the score is taken into consideration to determine the final score of the candidate.
Note- The is no interview for RBI Assistant selection process. Candidates who clear the Prelims Exam will be called for the Mains, and the Mains exam is the final round for this selection process.
