Rajasthan JE Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates applying for the Rajasthan JE Recruitment 2026 exam must fulfill the eligibility in terms of educational qualification and age limit. Candidates fails to fulfill eligibility their application will be rejected at any stage of the selection process.
Educational Qualification
JE (Civil) – Degree holders: Degree in civil engineering from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the government
Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture
JE (Civil) – Diploma holders: A Diploma in civil engineering from a recognised institution, or a Civil Engineering diploma recognised by the Institution of Engineers for exemption from its associate membership exam
Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture
JE (Mechanical/Electrical) – Diploma holders: A diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering from a recognised institution, or an equivalent diploma recognised by the Institution of Engineers

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2027)
Candidates must be 18 years old and not have exceeded 40 years. Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.

While submitting the application forms, candidates are required to pay an application fee as per candidate category. Candidates from the General/OBC/EBC category have to pay Rs. 600/-, and candidates from other categories have to pay Rs. 400/-. What is the RSSB Junior Engineer Selection Process?
Selection is based solely on a written objective-type examination carrying 120 marks (40 marks for General Knowledge, 80 marks for the concerned engineering subject), with 1/3 negative marking and a 40% minimum qualifying score.
Q. When is the RSSB JE 2026 exam likely to be held?
The written examination is probably scheduled for February 2027, though RSSB reserves the right to change the date.
RSSB JE Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and personal interview.
- It is an objective-based examination to be completed in 2 hours.
- The exam is to be conducted in offline mode.
- There will be 2 sections – General Knowledge and Engineering subjects – with a weightage of 40 marks and 80 marks, respectively.
- A deduction of -0.33 marks for every incorrect answer.
