PSSSB Clerk Answer Key 2026 Out (Unofficial)
The written exam was conducted across various exam centres in the state, and thousands of candidates appeared in the exam for 531 Clerk vacancies. With the release of the unofficial answer key, candidates can cross-check their responses and know their approximate marks. The PSSSB will release the official answer key soon, which includes the correct answers to the questions asked in the written exam, on its official website, www.sssb.punjab.gov.in.

PSSSB Clerk Marking Scheme 2026
The marking scheme for the PSSSB Clerk exam is very simple, as there is no negative marking in the written exam. It consists of 120 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), and each question carries 1 mark.
- Correct Answer 1 mark
- Incorrect Answer: 0 marks
- Unanswered Question: 0 marks
When will Official PSSSB Clerk Answer Key Release?
As per past trends, PSSSB releases the official answer key either on the same day in the evening or on the next day of the exam. So, the Punjab Clerk Answer Key and Response Sheet with correct answers can be expected by 12 October 2026. The provisional answer key will help the candidates to compare their marked responses with the official answers and estimate their probable scores before the declaration of the result.
How to Download Punjab Clerk Answer Key 2026?
The answer key will only be released online on the PSSSB official website; no post or mail of the answer key will be sent to the candidates. To download the answer key PDF, candidates can follow the steps provided below.
- Visit the official website of Punjab Government Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) at www.sssb.punjab.gov.in.
- On the homepage, look for the “Current News” section and click on “Provisional Answer Key for Clerk”.
- You will be redirected to a new page and click on “Provisional answer key for the post of Clerk under Advt 02 of 2026, whose written examination was
- conducted on 11-10-2026”.
- Select the answer key as per your question paper set (Set A, B, C, or D).
- The answer key will appear on your screen in the form of a PDF.
Raise Objection Process
Candidates can also object if they find any answer incorrect in the provisional answer key. The objections can only be raised online by providing valid proof. Objections can be raised within the stipulated time limit. Any objection will not be considered after the last date. Candidates can follow these steps given below to raise an objection against the answer key from the official website.
- Visit the official website of PSSSB at www.sssb.punjab.gov.in.
- On the homepage, under the Advertisement section, click on “Click here to submit online objection for the answer key of the exam conducted on 11.10.2026 for the post of Clerk Advt. No. 02 of 2026.”
- Select the answer key as per your question paper set (Set A, B, C, or D).
- Enter the question number and answer for which you wish to raise an objection.
- Provide valid proof for your objection and pay the objection fee if applicable.
- At last click on the submit button.
