Jharkhand GDS Result 2026 Out, India Posts Fourth Merit List PDF

India Post has so far released four merit lists for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment under the Online Engagement Schedule-I, January 2026, and Jharkhand Postal Circle has been included in each round. The most recent update is the 4th Merit List, declared on 8th June 2026, with shortlisted candidates required to complete document verification by 23rd June 2026.

Merit List History for Jharkhand Circle

1st Merit List (6 March 2026): The first selection list for Jharkhand was the initial shortlist based purely on Class 10 percentage, with document verification originally required by 23 March 2026.

2nd Merit List (11 April 2026): India Post released a second round of state-wise lists to fill seats left vacant after the first round, covering 19 circles including Jharkhand (a few circles such as Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal were excluded at that time due to the Model Code of Conduct).

3rd Merit List (11 May 2026): A third supplementary list followed, shortlisting roughly 6,690 candidates nationwide across 19 circles, with document verification required by 26 May 2026.

4th Merit List (8–9 June 2026): The fourth list has now been published for a wide set of circles, explicitly including Jharkhand, to fill remaining vacant posts. Cut-off marks in this round are reported to be slightly lower than in earlier rounds, giving candidates with marginally lower percentages a chance at selection. Document verification for this list must be completed on or before 23 June 2026 at the allotted Divisional Office.

A further (5th) list may still follow if vacancies remain unfilled after document verification of the 4th list is complete.
