UPTET Notification 2026 PDF Out After 4 Years, Check Important Dates and Eligibility

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the official notification pdf (Advt No. 01/UPTET/2026) for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 on 20th March 2026. Candidates preparing for primary (Class 1–5) and upper primary (Class 6–8) teaching jobs can apply online from 27th March 2026, and the link will be activated at https://upessc.up.gov.in.

With the release of the notification, candidates can now check complete details, including eligibility, application dates, exam pattern, and selection process. UPTET Exam is to be held from 2nd to 4th July 2026.

After a long wait of 4 years, finally UPTET Notification is released giving hopes to lakhs of teaching aspirants who were preparing for the eligibility test. Candidates have to first register for the exam.

Who is Eligible to Apply for UP TET 2026?

UPTET Exam is divided in two papers:

• Paper I: For candidates willing to teach Classes 1 to 5 (Primary Level).
• Paper II: For candidates willing to teach Classes 6 to 8 (Upper Primary Level).

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria in respective of UPTET Paper 1 and Paper 2.

When will UPTET 2026 Apply Online Begin?
