What are the minimum qualifying marks for SSC MTS Havaldar exam?

To qualify for the SSC MTS Havaldar Exam 2026, candidates have to score a minimum of marks as set by the exam authority. The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 30%, for OBC/EWS are 25%, and for other categories are 20%.

SSC MTS Tie-Breaking Policy

If two or more candidates score equal marks in Session II, SSC resolves the tie using the following criteria in order of priority:

  1. Total marks in Session II – A Higher normalized score gets preference.
  2. Date of Birth – The older candidate (born earlier) gets preference.
  3. Alphabetical Order – Names are sorted alphabetically, and the earlier name gets preference.
     

SSC MTS Document Verification 2026

The candidates who qualified in the CBT Exam for the MTS post are called for the document verification process. During this procedure, candidates must carry the original documents. The following documents are required for verification.

  • 10th and 12th certificates
  • A valid government ID proof
  • Category/PWD certificates (if applicable)
  • Documents for equivalent qualifications
  • Ex-servicemen status, age relaxation, or government employment (NOC) should also be produced if relevant.
  • Any proof of name change after matriculation and other documents mentioned in the admission certificate for document verification are required.

The date for Document Verification and PET will be announced once the results are released.
