SSC CGL Result 2025, Tier 1 Result & Merit List PDF

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC CGL Result 2025 for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025 on the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in in December 2025. Along with the result, officials will also release category-wise cut-off marks and the list of selected candidates for the tier 2 exam. 

SSC CGL Result 2025

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam has been scheduled from 12th to 26th September 2025, and a re-exam on 14th October 2025 for 18236 Group B and C vacancies. Around 12 lakh candidates have submitted their applications for the SSC CGL 2025 Exam, and their results will be released, shortlisting them for the next stage of the selection process. The vacancies have been released for Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Other posts.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025

As notified, the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam will be conducted in January/February 2026 for the candidates who will be qualified in the tier 1 exam. Based on their aggregate performance in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 examinations, candidates will be shortlisted for the final selection process, categorised by their respective groups.

SSC CGL Result Date 2025

SSC Chairman S.Gopalakrihnan confirmed that the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result will be declared in December 2025, followed by the Tier 2 exam in January/February 2026.

The result for the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam will be released in PDF format with the names/roll numbers of the candidates at www.ssc.gov.in. The post-wise SSC CGL Tier 1 result PDFs will be released separately, and once released, will also be shared here.

How to Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025?

1. Visit the official website of SSC (https://ssc.gov.in/)
2. On the left side of the homepage, click on the “Result” section and click on the CGL tab.
3. Click on the "Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025 Candidates provisionally shortlisted for Tier 2 Examination"  Result Links for the posts you have appeared in the exam.
4. Now download the SSC CGL Result 2025 PDF file and save this result PDF.
5. SSC CGL Tier 1 Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.
6. Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.
7. If your Name and Roll No. are there on the list, you have qualified to appear for the released vacancies

SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 will be released separately in PDFs for each post with the names & roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates in PDF format at www.ssc.gov.in, and the following details will be mentioned on the result. 

1. Name of the Examination, i.e. Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025 (Tier 1)
2. On top of the SSC CGL Result PDF, A list of Candidates Qualified in Tier 1 is mentioned.
3. Name of the Post- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)/Statistical Investigator Gr. II/POSTS OTHER THAN JSO/STAT.INV.
4. The Roll Numbers of the Qualified candidates are the same as those mentioned on their hall tickets.
