IPL Playoff Schedule 2023

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also announced the schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 playoffs and final match. The TATA IPL 2023 playoffs and final will be played from 23rd May to 28th May 2023 in Chennai and Ahmedabad. The Qualifier 1 will be played on 23rd May between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Eliminator will be played on 24th May between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium Chennai. Qualifier 2 and the IPL final will be played on the 26th and 28th of May respectively at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

IPL 2023 Format

The 16th season of the IPL (IPL 2023) has reverted to the home and away format, where all the teams will play 7 home games and 7 away games respectively in the league stage. A total of 70 league-stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days. The format of the IPL was changed last year.  Now, 10 teams are divided into two teams (Group A and Group B). Group A and Group B will be made up of five teams each. Each team will play 14 league matches. The forthcoming IPL 2023 season will include two qualifiers, one eliminator, and the championship final match.
