WBPSC Clerkship Selection Process 2024

The WBPSC Clerkship 2024 Exam will be conducted in two stages: Part I (Objective Type) and Part II (Conventional Type - Written). The Commission will conduct the Part-I examination first. Only a limited number of candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the Part I Exam will be allowed to appear in the Part II Exam. The candidates must qualify in Part I and Part II before their computer knowledge and typing ability are assessed.

  1. WBPSC Clerkship Part-I Exam carries 100 marks having 100 Multiple Choice Questions
  2. Subjects included in the WBPSC Clerkship Part 1 Exam are English, General Studies and Arithmetic.
  3. The duration of the WBPSC Clerkship Part-I examination will be 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes).
  4. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be marked as a penalty.

The duration of the Part II examination shall be 1 hour (60 minutes).
