What After WBP SI Prelims Result 2025?
After the release of the WBP SI Prelims Result 2025, candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam need to prepare for the subsequent stages of the selection process. The next steps are:
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualified candidates will undergo these physical tests, which assess their physical fitness and suitability for the Sub-Inspector role. These tests are scheduled to begin from 17th November 2025 onwards.
Final Combined Competitive Examination (Mains Exam): Candidates who clear the physical tests will be eligible to appear for the Final Combined Competitive Examination. This written test is crucial for further selection.
Personality Test: After clearing the mains exam, candidates must also undergo a personality test, which evaluates the candidate’s overall behaviour and suitability for police service.
Document Verification and Final Merit List: Candidates clearing all stages will be called for document verification. Finally, a merit list will be prepared based on marks scored in the mains exam and personality test for final selection.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Details
The PET measures the physical fitness and endurance of candidates through running tests:
- Male candidates (Unarmed & Armed Branch): Run 800 meters within 3 minutes.
- Female candidates (Unarmed Branch): Run 400 meters within 2 minutes.
- Transgender candidates (Unarmed & Armed Branch): Run 400 meters within 1 minute 40 seconds.
