What is UTET Exam 2026?
UTET is also known as the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test, a state-level eligibility test held every year to assess the eligibility of candidates for teachers for the different government-funded schools across the state. The exam will consist of 2 papers. Paper 1 is held for those candidates who intend to teach the primary classes, i.e., Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. UTET Exam 2026 will be conducted on 29th September 2026 (Paper 1 from 10 am to 12:30 pm and Paper II from 2 pm to 4:30 pm).

UTET Exam Date 2026 Out
The exam date for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) has been announced by Uttarakhand Board of School Education through the detailed notification PDF. UTET Exam 2026 will be conducted on 29th September 2026 (Tuesday). The UTET Paper 1 exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12:30 pm and Paper II from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Who is Eligible to Apply for the UTET Exam 2026?
Only those candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 in terms of educational qualification are eligible to apply online for the UTET exam.

- Upload the scanned copies of the required documents, such as a passport-size photograph, signature, educational certificates, and caste certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the application fee using one of the provided payment methods.

UTET 2026 Exam Pattern
UTET Exam 2026 will consist of 2 papers, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. UTET 2026 Certificate Validity
Earlier, the UTET Exam certificate used to be valid for a span of 7 years. But after the new amendments made by the Ministry of Education, now the UTET certificate will be valid for a lifetime. The candidates who qualify the UTET exam 2026 will receive the UTET certificates. The candidates need to appear for and qualify for the UTET exam once, and the certificate will serve for a lifetime.
UTET 2026 Admit Card
UTET 2026 admit card will be issued a few days before the exam. The candidates are recommended to fill in the details while filling the application forms. The same details would be carried over to the admit card as well. UTET Admit card is a very important document, as the candidates would not be allowed to enter the examination hall if they fail to present the admit card. So, it is strictly recommended to take a printout of the Admit card as soon as it is officially published.
