Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notice regarding the extension of the last date to apply online for the UP Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2026). The last date to apply online is September 7, 2026. Candidates who have passed High School or an equivalent qualification and fall within the age group of 18 to 40 years are eligible to apply online for the UPSSSC PET Exam.

Candidates who are willing to be hired for various Group B & C posts, including UP Lekhpal, X-Ray Technician, Junior Assistant, and others, must have first appeared in the UPSSSC PET Exam. Interested and eligible candidates can submit the UPSSSC PET Online Form 2026 through online mode only, and no form will be accepted offline / printed copy by post. The validity of the scores of UPSSSC PET 2026 is revised to 3 years.

UPSSSC PET Online Application Fee 2026

Steps for Fill UPSSSC PET Online Form 2026
The following sequence shall be observed while filling out the online application form for the UPSSSC PET 2026 exam. Candidates must have a stable internet connection while filling out the UPSSSC PET Online Form 2026 from the official website.
- Access the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Official Website at http://upsssc.gov.in/.
- 2. Proceed to Candidate Registration.
- Click on “Apply for PRELIMINARY ELIGIBILITY TEST (PET)-Exam/2026".
- Proceed to complete your registration if you are a new user. Read all the details and accept the declaration.
- Enter your personal information, qualification details, etc. in order to complete your registration.
- Proceed to the online application and upload all the required documents. The photograph and signature format must be (.jpe/jpeg/jpg, 5kb to 30kb).
- Submit the remaining details and pay the fee as applicable and complete your application process.
