SSC Stenographer Result 2025, Grade C & D CBT Merit List PDF

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) successfully conducted the SSC Stenographer Written Exam for selecting candidates for 1590 Stenographer vacancies. Candidates who appeared in the written exam can check their qualifying status online through the SSC Stenographer Result 2025, which will be made available on the official website https://ssc.gov.in/ as expected in October 2025. Candidates whose names will appear in the SSC Stenographer Merit list have been shortlisted to appear for the Skill Test for Grade C and Grade D posts.

Through the  SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2025, the SSC aims to fill a total of 1590 Stenographer posts for which selection is based on candidates' performance in the Written Exam and Skill Test. A candidate is required to qualify for all levels to ensure their final selection through the SSC Stenographer Exam. The SSC Stenographer Result 2025 will be released in PDF format with the names and roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates for the skill test.

The SSC Steno Result 2025 for the written exam will be released with the list of candidates who are shortlisted for the skill test. Skill Test involves a shorthand speed test at a specific word per minute (w.p.m) rate, depending on the grade (Grade C or Grade D). Steps to Check SSC Steno Result 2025

Follow the steps to check the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 for Grade C and Grade D:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC (https://ssc.gov.in/) to check the SSC Stenographer Result for Stenographer 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025.

Step 2: Go to the Result section and click on the Steno ‘C’ and ‘D’ tab.

Step 3: Now click on “Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination,2025: List of candidates in Roll No order shortlisted for Skill Test”.

Step 4: Now, download the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 PDF file and save this result PDF.

Step 5:  SSC Stenographer Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.

Step 7: If your Name and Roll No. are there in the list, you have qualified in the SSC Steno Written Exam.

What After SSC Stenographer Result 2025?

After the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 is declared, qualified candidates will have to appear for the next stage, i.e., a skill test. The Skill Test will be of a qualifying nature, and the Commission will fix the qualifying standards in the Skill Test for different categories of candidates. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.
