SSC Stenographer Final Result 2025-26 Out, Grade C & D Merit List PDF

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the result on 18th June 2026 for Stenography Skill Test of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2025. The result has been released in a PDF, including the roll number and the names of qualified candidates in the skill test. As per the result PDF, a total of 1711 candidates are shortlited for the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ &’ D’ in different Ministries/Departments/ Offices.

A total of 17471 (Grade C - 4907, Grade D - 12564) candidates appeared in the SSC Stenography Skill Test for 1590 vacancies for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts. The final selection of candidates is based on candidates' performance in the Written Exam and Skill Test. Along with the result, the SSC Stenographer Cut Off 2025 has been released at the official website https://ssc.gov.in/. 

SSC Stenographer Result 2025- Statistics

Approximately thousands of candidates appeared for the SSC Stenographer Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts. Out of the total vacancies, 228 candidates have provisionally qualified for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’, and 1483 candidates qualified for the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA).

Steps to Check SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Final Result 2026

Follow the steps to check the SSC Stenographer Result 2026 for Grade C and Grade D:

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (https://ssc.gov.in/) to check the SSC Stenographer Result for Stenographer 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025.
2. Go to the Quick Link section and click on the Result tab.
3. Now, click on Result in front of text reading “Stenographers Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2025 - List of the Candidates qualified in Skill Test in Stenography for the Post of Stenographer Grade 'C"/ Grade 'D'.
4. Now, download the SSC Stenographer Final Result 2025-26 PDF file and save this result PDF.
5. SSC Stenographer Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.
6. Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.
7. If your Name and Roll No. are in the list, you have qualified in the SSC Steno Written Exam.

Resolution of Tie Cases

In case where more than one candidate secured equal aggregate marks in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE), the tie has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another in the given order till the tie is resolved:

• Marks in Part-III (i.e. English Language & Comprehension)
• Marks in Part-II (i.e. General Awareness)
• Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher
• Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear

What is after the SSC Stenographer Final Result 2026?

As the SSC Stenographer CBT Result 2025 is declared, qualified candidates are now eligible to appear for the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ &’ D’ in different Ministries/Departments/ Offices. Candidates have to choose the venue, date, and slot for the sliding process by logging in through the designated login module on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in/) from 19th to 22nd June, 2026. Thereafter, the sliding process will be conducted at the cities of the concerned Regional Offices from 1st to 2nd July 2026.
