SSC Stenographer Result 2025 Out, Grade C & D Merit List PDF

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 on 28th November 2025 for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2025. The result PDF along with cut-off marks is now available at the official website of SSC https://ssc.gov.in/. Candidates whose names appear in the result PDF are declared qualified in the CBT exam and shortlisted to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography.

SSC Stenographer 2025 Computer-Based Examination was conducted by SSC at various exam centres to shortlist eligible candidates for 1590 vacancies for Stenographer posts. As per the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 PDF, a total of 31080 candidates are provisionally qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the posts of Stenographer (Grade C - 8624, Grade D -22456). The final selection of candidates is based on candidates' performance in the Written Exam and Skill Test.

Approximately 3.50 lakh candidates appeared for the SSC Stenographer Computer-Based Examination for Grade C and D posts. Out of the total vacancies, 8624 candidates have provisionally qualified for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’, and 22456 candidates qualified for appearing in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

Steps to Check SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Result 2025

Follow the steps to check the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 for Grade C and Grade D:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (https://ssc.gov.in/) to check the SSC Stenographer Result for Stenographer 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025.

Step 2: Go to the Quick Link section and click on the Result tab.

Step 3: Now, click on Result in front of text reading “Stenographers Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2025 - List of the Candidates qualified in Computer Based Examination for appearing in Skill Test in Stenography for the Post of Stenographer Grade 'C"/ Grade 'D'.

Step 4: Now, download the SSC Stenographer Result 2025 PDF file and save this result PDF.

Step 5:  SSC Stenographer Result (PDF File) is displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Open the file. The list of qualified candidates is shown. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll No.

Step 7: If your Name and Roll No. are in the list, you have qualified in the SSC Steno Written Exam.

What After SSC Stenographer Result 2025?

As the SSC Stenographer CBT Result 2025 is declared, qualified candidates are now eligible to appear for the next stage, i.e., a skill test. The Skill Test will be of a qualifying nature, and the Commission will fix the qualifying standards in the Skill Test for different categories of candidates. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.
