The SSC Stenographer Notification PDF has been released for recruiting candidates for 731 Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D' posts. Candidates who have completed their Intermediate/12th and are between 18 and 30 years old are eligible to apply for Grade C & D Stenographer posts. Application forms are accepted only in online mode. Candidates belonging to the OBC and General categories are required to pay Rs. 100/- as the fee while filling out the SSC Stenographer Online Form 2026. 

Steps to Fill out the SSC Stenographer 2026 Online Form

Here, below we have mentioned a complete step-by-step process that will help candidates fill out the online form for SSC Stenographer Group C and D posts from the official website. 

1. With the help of a stable internet connection, open any web browser and visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) i.e. https://ssc.gov.in/.
2. Once opened, the homepage of the website is displayed on the screen.
3. Now, look out for the “Quick Links” section here, and click on the "Apply.” tab under this section.
4. From the screen displayed, find the link for the “Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination- 2026” and click on the “Apply” button in front of it.
5. Click on the “Click on the "New User? Register Now" link if you haven't registered before.” Then on the “Continue” button to proceed further.
6. Start filling out your details including Aadhar number, name, date of birth, Educational qualifications, gender, etc.
7. Now, submit the details, and a Registration ID will be issued to candidates.
8. In the next step, candidates need to create a password and then move further.
9. Now, log in using the Registration ID, Password, and Date of Birth.
10. Once logged in, submit Additional Details, including the Candidate's nationality, address, and education details.
11. Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Important Instructions for Photograph & Signature 

While filling out the SSC Stenographer Application Form 2026, candidates need to upload their passport-size photograph along with their signature in the format as prescribed below. 

1. The photograph should be recent i.e. not older than 3 months.
2. It should be a colored photograph with a white and black background.
3. Candidates need to upload only the scanned images of the photograph and signature.
