Steps to Apply Online For RBI Attendant Recruitment 2026

Step-1 Click on the link given below or visit the official website rbi.org.in.

Step-2 Scroll down and click on the “Recruitment Related Advertisement” option in the list.

Step-3 Click on notification reading “Recruitment for the Office Attendant posts in Reserve Bank of India”

Step-4 The new candidates are advised to register themself by clicking on “Click Here For New Registration”.

Step-5 Fill up your details and submit.

Step-6 An Email & SMS is sent to the registered email ID and a Mobile number containing the Registration number and Password.

Step-7 Log in with the Registration number and Password and fill in all the important details asked there.

Step-8 Upload scanned copy of recent photograph and signature, left-hand thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.

RBI Office Attendant 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must fulfil the following criteria to be eligible for the RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026:

RBI Office Attendant Age Limit

Between 18 and 25 years.

RBI Office Attendant Educational Qualification

1. A candidate should have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he/she is applying. Such a qualification should be from a recognised board of that State/UT.
2. In addition to the above, the candidate should be a domicile of the State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruitment Office to which he/she is applying.
3. The candidate should be an undergraduate. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
4. Bank reserves the right to call for documents in support of the domicile status of the candidate.
5. A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category should have passed the 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces.
6. Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/UT falling under that office.

RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern

1. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the Online Test. 1/4th mark will be
   deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Online tests, except the test of General English, will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.
3. The candidates provisionally selected from the Online Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT)

RBI Office Attendant Salary Structure

The starting basic pay of RBI Office Attendant is Rs. 10,940/- per month with pay scale of Rs. 10940 – 380 (4) – 12460 – 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 – 690 (2) – 16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (1) - 23700 and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, the initial monthly Gross emoluments for Office Attendants are approximately Rs/ 26,508/-. Office Attendants who will not be staying in the accommodation provided by the Bank will be eligible for House Rent Allowance @ 15% of pay.
