OTET Admit Card 2026 Out

OTET 2026 Exam Timing

The OTET 2026 exam will be conducted on 5th July 2026 in two shifts. Paper 1 will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. What to Carry to the Exam Hall

  • One valid original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving Licence
  • Two passport-size photographs (the same one uploaded during application, in case requested)
  • A simple transparent pouch/pen for filling the OMR sheet, as instructed
  • Any category/PwD certificate copy, if applicable, for verification

Things Not to Carry to the OTET Exam Centre

  • No electronic devices ( Mobile phones, Watches, etc. ) are allowed in the examination hall.
  • Candidates should check the pockets of their pants & shirts carefully so as to remove any unwanted suspicious items.
  • Use of a calculator is not allowed
  • Candidates should not write anything on the rough booklet before the exam starts; if caught doing so, it may even lead to rejection.

Reporting Time

  • Reach the exam center at least 1 hour before the exam starts.
  • You will not be allowed in after 10 minutes of the gate closing time mentioned on your admit card.

OTET 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

Each paper of OTET 2026 carries 150 multiple-choice questions, each worth 1 mark, to be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes. There is no negative marking, so candidates are encouraged to attempt every question.
