MPTET 2023 Exam Out: Madhya Pradesh Professional Education Board (MPPEB) conducts Madhya Pradesh Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (MPTET). MPTET 2023 Overview

MPTET 2023 Application Form 

The online application form filling has been started along with the release of the official notification of MPTET 2023 on 30th December 2022. The candidates should can apply from the direct link which is given below till 13th February 2023.

How to fill the application form for MPTET 2023?

Follow these steps to reduce errors while filling MPTET online application form, the steps to fill the online application form of MPTET 2023 is given below: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board @peb.mp.gov.in

Step 2: The home page of MPPEB will appear on your screen.

Step 3: Click on the dashboard given in the middle of the home page. 

Step 4: Navigate to the notification of MPTET 2023 and click on the apply online link of MPTET 2023.

Step 5: The login page will open, if you aren’t registered then register with valid details

Step 6: After registration, log in with details sent on your contact number. 

Step 7: The application form will open, fill in all the details asked in the application form accurately. 

Step 8: Purview all the information and correct if you made any mistake before clicking on submit button. 

Step 9: Download the application form receipt for the further recruitment process.

MPTET 2023 Application Fee 

To complete the online application form successfully candidates need to complete the application fee process after submitting the application form. The online application fee will be paid by using various mediums such as Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking/ UPI. MPTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria that candidates need to meet to appear for the MPTET 2023 written examination are mentioned below.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for MPTET 2023 is  21 Years and the maximum age limit is 40 years. The candidates belonging to reserved categories SC/ST/OBC will get the age relaxation as per the government norms.

Education Qualification

The education qualification criteria to apply for MPTET 2023 is as follows: 

Candidates must have possessed  Higher Secondary with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a two-year diploma in elementary education

OR

Candidates must possess a B.Ed degree with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate

OR

Candidates must hold Higher Secondary with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a B.El.Ed degree

OR

Candidates must hold Higher Secondary with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a diploma in Special Education

MPTET Exam Pattern 2023

Candidates should know the exam pattern before taking MPTET 2023 written examination. This increases the chances of passing the exam with a good score. 

1. The exam paper consists of 150 questions
2. Each question carries one mark
3. There is no negative marking for wrong answers
4. The maximum duration of 2.30 hrs will be given

MPTET 2023 Syllabus

The syllabus is the essential part of any examination, it helps aspirants focus on topics given in the syllabus and ignore unnecessary topics. The syllabus of all the subjects of MPTET 2023 is as follows 

Language – 1 (English/ Hindi/Urdu/Sanskrit): Unseen prose passages (two), questions related to language development such a grammar-based, verbal  ability, comprehension

Language – 2 (English/ Hindi/Urdu/Sanskrit): Unseen prose passages (two), questions related to language development such a grammar-based, verbal ability, comprehension

Child Development and Pedagogy: Understanding child development, Factors affecting child’s growth and development, Principles of child development, Mental health and behavior problems of children, Socialization processes, Language and thought, Concept of inclusive education and children with special needs, Child crime: causes and issues, Pedagogy (Learning and education)

Mathematics: Number system, Addition, Multiplication, Subtraction, Division, Fraction, Algebra, Geometry, Pattern, Mensuration, Shapes, Spatial Understanding, Time, Graph

Environmental Studies: Family and relations, Animals and Birds, Trees and Plants, Importance of Natural resources, Air pollution, Water Pollution, Body parts, Habitat, Solar system, Space science, Sports activities, man-made tools and their effects, food, and habits

MPTET 2023 Salary 

Madhya Pradesh government gives decent salaries to primary teachers. Teachers recruited by MPPEB are entitled to receive the salary structure based on the new rules and regulations set up by Madhya Pradesh Government. The detailed salary structure of MPTET 2023 is given below in the table:

MPTET 2023 Certificate Validity 

The candidates who will qualify for the MPTET cut-off will receive a certificate, and this certificate will be valid up to 2 years from the date of issuance of the certificate. The candidates can use this MPTET qualified certificate for 2 years to get recruitment under Madhya Pradesh Government. 

MPTET 2023 Admit Card 

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board will issue admit cards to the candidates whose application form will be accepted. On the admit card, the complete details about the exam center and a brief about the candidate will be given. The admit card for MPTET 2023 will be available till the date of examination on the official website of Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board @peb.mp.gov.in. 

MPTET 2023 Result

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board will release the result of MPTET 2023 on its official website @peb.mp.gov.in. candidates can check their results with the valid registration number or roll number. The candidates who will make it to the merit list will get recruitment under Madhya Pradesh Government. 

MPTET 2023 Cut-off

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board has set certain cut-off marks for candidates according to their categories. If candidates will get marks equal to or more than the cut-off marks, they will get MPTET qualified certificate, and this certificate will be valid for up to 2 years. The cut-off marks are as follows.
