The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has conducted the first stage of the selection process, i.e., a written exam to recruit eligible candidates for 3734 Constable and Lady Constable vacancies. The Kolkata Police Constable Written Exam 2025 was conducted successfully on 21st December 2025. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their Kolkata Police Constable Result 2026 from the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board official website www.prb.wb.gov.in/www.wbpolice.gov.in/www.kolkatapolice.gov.in. Candidates will have to provide their Application ID and Date of Birth to access their results. The qualified candidates will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) at www.wbpolice.gov.in or www.prb.wb.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the result section.

Step 3: Click on the link that reads "Result of Written Exam for Recruitment to the posts of Constables/ Lady Constables in Kolkata Police - 2025".

Step 4: A new page will appear on the screen. Select the District and enter the Application Sl. No and Date of Birth.

Step 5: After providing the login details, click on the submit button.

Step 6: The Kolkata Police Constable Result 2026 appears on the screen.

Step 7: Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

What After Kolkata Police Constable Result 2026?

Once the Kolkata Police Constable Result 2026 is released, the candidates who will be declared qualified for the exam will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). 

• Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The physical standards, i.e., height, weight, and chest (only for males), will be carried under the Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who are qualified in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be shortlisted to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test, which includes a running event.
