After the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd merit lists, India Post has now released the HP GDS 4th Merit List 2026 on 8th June 2026 at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. This list has been issued to fill vacancies that remained open after candidates from earlier lists either failed document verification (DV), were found ineligible, or did not report within the deadline.

Candidates whose names appear in the 4th Merit List PDF must report for document verification at their allotted Divisional Office on or before 23rd June 2026. The merit list, as with all previous rounds, has been prepared purely on the basis of Class 10th (Matriculation) marks, there is no written exam or interview involved in GDS selection.

If vacancies remain unfilled after DV for the 4th list concludes, India Post may release a 5th supplementary list, we'll update this page as soon as that is confirmed.

The HP GDS Result PDFs (for each merit list) include the candidate's Division, Post Office name, Post ID, Post Name (BPM/ABPM/Dak Sevak), Category, Registration Number, and percentage of marks. Each list is published separately, so make sure you check the correct "Supplementary List" number for your round.

How to Check the Himachal Pradesh GDS Result 2026?
- You can check the official India Post GDS portal at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in or at indiapost.gov.in.
- Click on “GDS Online Engagement” and choose “Schedule-I, January 2026”.
- Select the Postal Circle for Himachal Pradesh from the list of circles.
- Click on the “Supplementary List” link relevant to you – List I, II, III or the latest List IV.
- The merit list PDF opens in a new window. Then press Ctrl+F and type your 7 digit Registration Number or name.
- If your name/registration no. appears, write down the Division and make a note of the verification date/venue written against it.
