UPTET Result 2026 Out, Check Paper 1 & 2 Marks

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced the UPTET Result 2026 on August 26, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026 can now check their qualifying status. 

A total of 1,994,661 candidates have registered for the exam, and 713,648  candidates have participated in UPTET Paper 1 (Classes 1–5), out of which 571,435 candidates cleared Paper 1, and 1,057,021  candidates have participated in Paper 2 (Classes 6–8), out of which 759,513 have been declared qualified.

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has deactivated the link to check the UPTET 2026 result, declared on 26 August, from its official website. Candidates can now download their scorecard and certificate by logging in to their DigiLocker.

UPTET 2026 recorded an overall attendance of 88.77% across Paper 1 and Paper 2, with 1,994,661 total registrations and 1,770,714 candidates (88.77%) appearing across 60 districts. The data of qualified candidates has been updated here.

How to Check UP TET Result 2026?

Once UPESSC officially declares the UPTET Result 2026, candidates can follow the steps below to check and download their scorecards:

1. Visit the official UPESSC website at www.upessc.up.gov.in or the direct result link provided above.
2. On the homepage, click on the "UPTET Result 2026" link under the Candidate Services / Latest Updates section.
3. A login page will appear on the screen.
4. Enter your Registration Number and Password in the required fields.
5. Enter the captcha code and click on the "Login" button.
6. Your UPTET Result 2026 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
7. Check your qualifying status (Pass / Fail), marks obtained, and subject-wise marks carefully.
8. Download and save the scorecard as a PDF for future reference.
9. Take a printout of the UPTET Result 2026 scorecard.

UP TET Result has been released in scorecard format, including the candidate's name, roll number, marks obtained by them, and qualifying status in the exam. Only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks as per their category (UR - 60% and OBC, SC, ST, and PwD - 55%) are decalred qualified in the UPTET exam. Qualified candidates in the exam have been awarded the UPTET Certificate, whose validity is lifetime. 

Details Mentioned in UPTET 2026 Result

The following details will be mentioned in the UPTET scorecard. 

• Candidate Information - Candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, and category/caste
• Registration Details - Roll number and registration/application number
• Exam Details - Paper(s) applied for (Paper I, Paper II, or both)
• Score Details - Subject-wise marks obtained
• Total marks obtained - Maximum total marks (150 per paper)
• Status - Final qualifying status (Qualified/Not Qualified)
• Validity - Certification validity details (lifetime validity)

UPTET Cutoff & Qualifying Marks 2026

The qualifying marks in the exam are around 55%, or 82.5 marks for SC, ST, and OBC category candidates, while it is 60% or 90 marks for candidates belonging to the general category. Candidates obtaining the minimum UPTET Qualifying marks in the UPTET Result 2026 will get a UPTET Eligibility Certificate with lifetime validity.

UP TET Certificate - Validity & Issuance

Candidates who qualify the UPTET 2026 exam will be awarded the UPTET Eligibility Certificate. Key points to know:

1. The UPTET Certificate 2026 carries lifetime validity as per the latest government guidelines. Candidates who qualify do not need to re-appear in UPTET to maintain their eligibility.
2. The certificate is issued within approximately 30 days of the result declaration by UPESSC.
3. A Paper I certificate makes a candidate eligible to apply for Primary Teacher posts (Classes 1–5).
4. A Paper II certificate makes a candidate eligible for Upper Primary Teacher posts (Classes 6–8).
5. Candidates who qualify both Paper I and Paper II will receive separate certificates for each.
6. Candidates who have already qualified in a previous UPTET (e.g., UPTET 2019, 2022) retain their existing lifetime-valid certificate. They may re-appear to improve scores, but there is no requirement to do so.
