• Open the official website of SSC www.ssc.gov.in on your internet browser.
• On the SSC homepage, search for the “Answer Key” option.
• Click on the notification reading- “Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025 (Tier-II): Uploading of Answer Keys along with Question Paper(s)”.
• An SSC CGL Tier 2 Answer Key 2026 PDF file (Official Notice) is opened. Read it carefully and click on the link at the bottom.
• Then select the examination “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025” and click on “Submit”.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 Marking Scheme for 2026 involves +3 marks for correct answers and -1 mark for wrong answers in Paper 1 (Sections I, II & Computer Module I), and +2 marks for correct & -0.50 for wrong answers in Paper 2 (Statistics).

How to calculate the provisional score from the answer key?

1. Login to the SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) and download your response sheet for Tier 2.
2. Now count the number of correct answers, number of wrong answers, and number of unattempted questions.
3. Use this formula for your provisional raw score: Provisional Score  (Correct×3)− (Wrong×1) for Paper 1 and Provisional Score  (Correct×2)− (Wrong×0.50) for Paper 2
4. Do not include unattempted questions in the calculation, as they carry zero marks.
5. The score you get is your raw Tier 2 score; SSC will later apply normalisation across shifts to prepare the result and merit list.
