The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL Answer Key 2025 for the Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 Examination 2025 along with individual response sheets and question papers on its official website www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can now raise objections online till 21st October 2025 (11 am). A fee of Rs. 50 per-question challenge must be paid during the filing of objections.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination for 2025 was conducted from 12th September to 26th September, and a re-exam on 14th October 2025. Approximately 1.35 million candidates participated in the exam at various centres across India. How to Calculate Marks Using SSC CGL Answer Key?

Candidates can calculate their tentative marks by comparing their answers with the official key before the results are declared. The tentative marks for SSC CGL tier 1 exam can be calculated with the following marking scheme:

• Each correct answer carries +2 marks.
• Each wrong answer leads to a deduction of 0.5 marks.
• Unattempted questions receive zero marks.

The formula to estimate your score is:

Total Marks = (Number of Correct Answers × 2 ) – (Number of Incorrect Answers×0.5)

What After CGL Answer Key?

After the answer key and raise-objection process for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key, the following process will be followed.

• Release of Final Answer Key: Once objections are verified, SSC publishes the final answer key.

• Result Declaration: SSC then releases the Tier-1 result and cut-off marks.
