Education Qualification

Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised University / Institute, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). The candidates will be selected through the following stages-

• Online Examination – 120 questions, 120 minutes, with negative marking
• Language Proficiency Test – mandatory unless exempted by 10th/12th marksheet
• Psychometric Test – assesses personality, communication, sales aptitude, willingness to work in any part of the state
• Group Discussion (GD)/Personal Interview (PI) - The minimum qualifying marks/percentage of marks for GD/PI would be 60% for the General Category and 55% for the Reserved Category

Bank of Baroda LBO 2026 Exam Pattern

The online exam will consist of 120 questions from English Language, Banking Knowledge, General / Economic Awareness, and Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of exam is 120 minutes (2 hours) with sectional timing of 30 minutes for each section. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4th) mark.

Bank of Baroda Local Bank Officer Salary 2026

The pay scale for a local bank officer will be Rs 48480-2000 (7)-62480-2340 (2)-67160-2680 (7)-85920, with an initial pay scale of Rs 48480. Along with basic pay, the selected candidates will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Special Allowance & Special Pay, and Transport Allowance.

Probation: 12 months of active service

Posting: Within the applied state for first 12 years or until promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is earlier

Service Bond: Minimum 3 years' service, or pay the bank an amount equal to 3 months' gross salary (capped at ₹2 lakh) if leaving early
